Experience
and expertise are driving Comtech AHA Corporation's groundbreaking
achievements in communications technology. AHA is a fabless
semiconductor company that develops, markets, and licenses data coding
technologies such as Reed-Solomon, Turbo Product Codes, Low Density
Parity Check Codes, and lossless data compression for the
communications, networking, and data storage markets.
Since
1988, AHA has been developing and distributing integrated circuits
(ICs). With a history rich in innovation, AHA is a company of firsts in
FEC technology, including production of the first single-chip
Reed-Solomon IC and the first commercially available Turbo Product Code
hardware. AHA was also the first to develop Content Addressable Memory
architectures for high-performance single-chip data compression. AHA's
current product lines of FEC and Lossless Data Compression products are
based on these patented technologies. Comtech AHA Corporation is a
wholly owned subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications Corporation
(NASDAQ:CMTL).

Founded
in 1985, ATI Technologies Inc. is a world leader in the supply of
graphics, video and multimedia solutions for desktop personal
computers, mobile computing, DTV, cell phones, handhelds, consoles and
workstation products. The pioneer, innovator and market leader in the
graphics industry, ATI’s strength is built upon the strength of
its people, its product and technology excellence, customer focus, and
its ability to identify and capitalize on key inflection points where
new technologies and markets converge. ATI intends to become the
world’s leading supplier of rich visual display and media
technologies, components and subsystems to the PC and consumer
electronic markets.
The
wide range of consumer products requiring high end graphics has
exploded in the last few years, driven by the public’s wants and
desires. ATI supplies graphics processors to Nintendo for the GameCube
and has future technology agreements with both Nintendo and Xbox. In
the cell phone market, the company is supplying in volume to major
manufacturers. On the digital television front, the FCC mandate that
televisions be HDTV by the end of the decade will increase demand for
ATI’s established DTV product lineup.

Cswitch was founded in 2003 by executives from Transmeta, Sun Microsystems, LSI Logic, and SGI with technical competency in high-performance, low-power IC design (SPARC, Crusoe, Efficeon) and ,–ASIC/FPGA design.
•
•Cswitch offer configurable silicon targeting next-generation networking and telecom platforms with –ASIC performance: (40G line rates and beyond), –FPGA configurability and best performance/Watt .

MEMSIC, Inc. is a
semi-fabless IC company that specializes in Micro Electric Mechanical
Systems ICs. MEMSIC has developed and brought to market a unique CMOS
based accelerometer that contains no moving parts, is fabricated on a
single chip and is manufactured on a standard, sub-micron CMOS process.
Memsic's technology turns traditionally expensive and unreliable MEMS
accelerometers into highly affordable standard IC products with the
highest long-term reliability and performance available today in the IC
industry.

MUSIC
Semiconductors, Inc. develops and markets ICs that improve Internet and
wireless network performance. Within hubs, routers, bridges or
switches, wherever an address or routing decision is made, MUSIC
devices minimize the time necessary to redirect data and multimedia to
the next destination.
Best known for their signature Content Addressable Memory (CAM)
technology, MUSIC's CAM products accelerate packet transmission by
making a direct address match instead of searching for destination
information. After an innovative decade, MUSIC's product breadth makes
such functionality available to a wide range of network equipment
manufacturers.

Today, embedded system
developers are forced to make painful compromises when addressing
compute-intensive applications. Their choices include using banks of
DSPs
or GPPs, resulting in costly and
difficult-to-program multiprocessor systems; selecting fixed-function
chips, which do not allow them to address changing standards or
differentiate their products; or mixing processors and FPGAs or ASICs,
which requires the design of custom hardware, greatly increasing
time-to-market and development costs.
With
the introduction of the Stretch S610x family of software-configurable
processors, embedded system developers no longer need to trade-off
performance, time-to-market and system costs. Developers program and
automatically configure the Stretch processor using pure C/C++
—achieving unprecedented performance, easy and rapid development,
tremendous cost savings, and the flexibility to address diverse markets
and changing application needs.

Summit's
programmable power management solutions increase the reliability of
switches and routers for enterprise equipment, improve the cost and
performance of cellular base stations, ensure reliability in DSL
equipment, increase battery operating life in cell phones and improve
reliability in products ranging from automotive systems and military
radios to marine navigation electronics.
Summit's
solutions integrate high level analog circuits with logic and embedded
nonvolatile EE memory cells which are all programmable via a simple GUI
software interface. This enables Summit to provide platform based
solutions rather than point products, enabling both Summit and our
customers to enjoy leveraging an individual device across many customer
designs, all with unique operating configuration requirements.

TranSwitch is a
Delaware corporation incorporated on April 26, 1988. We design, develop
and market highly integrated semiconductor devices, also referred to as
very large scale integration (VLSI) devices, that provide core
functionality in voice and data communications network equipment
deployed in the global communications network infrastructure. In
addition to their high degree of functionality, our products
incorporate digital and mixed-signal (analog and digital) processing
capabilities, providing comprehensive system-on-a-chip (SOC) solutions
to our customers.
Our
products are compliant with relevant communications network standards
including Asynchronous/Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy
(Asynchronous/PDH), Synchronous Optical Network/Synchronous Digital
Hierarchy (SONET/SDH), Ethernet and Asynchronous Transfer Mode/Internet
Protocol (ATM/IP). We offer several products that combine
multi-protocol capabilities on a single chip, enabling our customers to
develop network equipment for multi-service (voice, data and video)
applications. A key attribute of our products is their inherent
flexibility. Many of our products incorporate embedded programmable
micro-processors, enabling us to rapidly accommodate new customer
requirements or evolving network standards by modifying a function of
the device via software instruction.
We bring value to our
customers through our communications systems expertise, VLSI design
skills and commitment to excellence in customer support. Our emphasis
on technical innovation and complete reference solutions enables us to
define and develop products that permit our customers to achieve faster
time-to-market, and to produce communications systems that offer a host
of benefits such as greater functionality, improved performance, lower
power dissipation, reduced system size and cost and greater reliability
for their customers.
